Awards

Prizes and Gold Awards will be awarded to the top ten individuals in each grade and the top three pairs.

Every school that has entered ten or more individuals and has not won a Gold Award will be eligible for a School Prize, which will be awarded to the highest-ranking individual in the school, in any grade.

The Gold Award winners and the winners of School Prizes will be invited to attend the Competition Prize Giving at the University of Cape Town.

All entrants will receive Certificates of Participation.

Merit Awards will be awarded to the top 200 individuals in each grade and the top 100 pairs.
